Istituto Venezia is a school of Italian language and culture located in the heart of Venice historical centre, the lively area of Campo Santa Margherita. We offer intensive courses at any level (A0-A1, A2, B1, B2, C1), super-intensive courses, individual courses, Skype courses and apart from language courses, we also run art history classes and practical cooking classes, to learn the language in a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere.

Since 1995, the school ha been promoting Italian culture and it is also the destination for several study-abroad programs of American universities (Colgate University, Berkeley University, CUNY, Flathead Valley Community College, etc). Our students come from all over the world and our classes always have the right mix of nationalities and ages.

Our most popular course, the intensive course, is held from monday to friday from 9 am to 1 pm, maximum 12 students per class. All our courses are held in Italian since the very beginning, following the communicative method, which allows a quick and long-lasting learning.

Istituto Venezia is recognized by ASILS, Tandem International, CSN (Sweden), Eduitalia, Bildungsurlaub from Berlin and Hamburg.

Every afternoon our teachers organize social-cultural activities to let our students find out about the most peculiar and curious aspects of Venice and fully live their Venetian experience, as well as socialize with the students from all the other levels. These activities are included in tuition fees.

The school helps students finding an accommodation, if needed, offering single rooms with use of bathroom and kitchen by local hosts in Venice historical centre. Alternatively, we can offer nice single rooms with private en-suite bathroom at the beautiful Residence Redentore, located at only 15 minutes from the school. We can also help students with particular needs to find independent apartments.

Upon request, the school can organize a transfer service on arrival from Venice airport Marco Polo or train station Venezia Santa Lucia.
